Intersolar & Energy Storage North America (IESNA) is a trade show and conference series serving the solar, energy storage, and manufacturing sectors.

In response to attendee and exhibitor feedback, the 2027 program builds on IESNA Flagship’s history of residential-focused programming with an expanded conference track for C&I and utility-scale professionals.

“Our community spoke, and we listened,” said Beckie Kier, Event Director, Intersolar & Energy Storage North America. “By offering more C&I and utility-scale content, new roundtables and fireside chats, and a live Demo Stage with product builds, IESNA Flagship 2027 provides solar and storage professionals more opportunities to explore innovations, exchange ideas, and build relationships.”

What’s New for 2027

  • A sharper, 13-session conference program spanning residential, C&I, and utility-scale—with sessions on tax credit deadlines, tariff and sourcing rules, permitting reform, interconnection delays, storage economics, and data center-driven demand growth. New session formats include peer roundtables, fireside chats, and Braindate, a knowledge sharing platform with an onsite lounge.

  • A keynote session featuring a live recording of the Energy Empire podcast with Jigar Shah and Jamie Nolan leading a conversation on the forces reshaping America’s clean energy buildout.

  • A new Demo Stage in the exhibit hall where engineering leads walk through product builds.

Returning Attendee Favorites

  • An exhibit hall showcasing innovations from leading manufacturers, distributors, and software providers including Aurora Solar, Enverus, FranklinWH, Fronius USA, Greentech Renewables, IronRidge, Meta Power Solutions, Qcells North America, Sol-Ark, and Tigo Energy.

  • The Hub Stage powered by SunCast Media, featuring incisive interviews and conversations with industry leaders; past participants included Amy Harder (Axios), Dean Solon (Create Energy), and Michael Thomas (Cleanview).

  • The Solar Games installer competition, where teams battle for $16,000 in total prizes in front of a live industry audience. An attendee favorite, this event’s format was designed by an advisory board including leaders from Elemental Energy, Pegasus Solar, ReVision Energy, Rolls Battery Engineering, Solar Cowboyz, and more.

  • Solar Battle of the Bands, the well-loved live music competition and after-party, co-hosted with the California Solar & Storage Association (CALSSA) returns on February 10.
