Pryzm Becomes Belisar

New name accompanies 6X revenue growth and rapid adoption by defense tech firms

BOSTON, Oct. 5, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Pryzm, the CRM designed for government contracting, is now Belisar.

Pryzm has changed its name to Belisar.

The rebrand comes as the company rapidly scales, with 6X ARR growth and an expanding share of defense tech unicorns utilizing the platform.

“Belisar exists to connect the best technology to the missions that need it most,” said Nick LaRovere, Belisar Co-Founder and CEO. “Too often in federal procurement, the best technology loses to whoever can best absorb bureaucratic friction. We’re changing that. Our agentic platform gives companies the clearest view of federal growth, enabling our customers to swiftly find, pursue, and win government business.”

The White House has requested $1.5 trillion for national defense in FY27, the largest defense budget request in U.S. history. Venture investment in defense tech reached a record $49.1 billion in 2025, nearly double the year before. But, even with increased funding and opportunities, government contractors often find the path from idea to contract to deployment to be slow and opaque. The playing field shifts every day, and the procurement process is challenging for those who don’t have the institutional knowledge or long-held relationships to navigate through it.

Belisar levels the playing field by bringing real-time data, intuitive AI, and an enterprise CRM together into one operating system, so the best technology can win. Customers include a third of the 60+ defense tech unicorns, including Forterra, Quantum Systems, and Allen Control Systems.

“Traditional CRMs are built for a different mission,” said Scott Sanders, Chief Growth Officer at Forterra. “There is nothing in the world that looks like government contracting, and you need a tool that is really built for that.”

“We see Belisar as a game-changer for us as a company,” he continued. “It’s not just the growth team that uses it. It’s the marketing team, the operations team, and our manufacturing teams planning build cycles. The ability for everyone to have transparency into what sales targets are being hit, how we are building the capability for our customer, and how are we deploying that — it’s not just a growth problem; it’s an operations and engineering problem, as well. Belisar gives us so much more operational efficiency because we can share data across a system.”

A wide range of companies rely on the Belisar platform, including primes, neo-primes, leading consultancies, and defense tech startups. Customers include HII, Boeing, and Beacon Global. It’s also a trusted system of record for government agencies like DIU, which selected Belisar (then Pryzm) for its Enterprise Workflow and Reporting Platform (eWARP) initiative. The platform holds IL5 and FedRAMP High authorizations.

Investors in Belisar include Andreessen Horowitz and XYZ Venture Capital, among others. Built by alumni of Palantir and Lockheed Martin, Belisar’s platform includes market intelligence across U.S. federal and SLED, as well NATO, the EU, and a total of 39 countries. Its enterprise CRM provides a common operating picture for both commercial and government business.
