AI-native studio KissyKat Games brings its free-to-play cat puzzle to Android, keeping the rules it wrote first: no ads, no loot boxes
LAS VEGAS, NV, UNITED STATES, October 5, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — KissyKat Games, an independent one-person studio, today announced that CLAWDER, its free-to-play cat puzzle game, is now available on both the Apple App Store and Google Play. The game first came out on iPhone on May 29, 2026. The Android version went into production on Google Play on Sept. 21, 2026.
CLAWDER is simple to learn. Players drag pieces onto an 8×8 grid and fill rows and columns to clear them, trying to keep the board open as long as they can. Every tenth level, Cat Mode turns the grid into a hidden cat face for players to reveal for bonus rewards. A new Daily Challenge arrives every day: a two-minute timed puzzle that saves progress if a player steps away, with leaderboards for the fastest times.
Players also raise their own cat. They can customize it, dress it up with accessories, and watch it react to every move on the board.
The studio’s business model is its pitch. CLAWDER has no advertising SDK at all, and no loot boxes. Every purchase says exactly what you get. Players get nine new lives every day. Meow Bucks, the in-game currency, are earned through play and can also be bought by players who would rather skip the grind. The piece generator is seeded and deterministic, so everyone playing the same Daily Challenge gets the same board.
“Players are really tired of bloated games that force ads into the middle of play. They want games built around the player experience,” said Patrick Sheridan, founder of KissyKat Games.

CLAWDER is free to play, with optional in-app purchases. It’s rated 4+ on the App Store and Everyone on Google Play. The iPhone version requires iOS 18 or later. The Android version requires Android 8.0 or later. On Google Play, CLAWDER is available in the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Australia, Ireland, and New Zealand.
